 Memory, Lust, Enjoy (Scholar Chair)

I just finished hanging my show at the Mildred Owen Concert Hall which opens next week and runs for three months.  It holds my work from the past two years and covers my two favorite subjects: nature and design.  It's a bit of an odd mix, but then I've never been one to paint just one style or theme over and over again. I don't have that kind of focus, there's just too many interesting things to cover in the world.

Pictures from next week's reception will be posted, for sure, and then it's off to the Wired exhibit in Rockin, CA (orchestrated by fellow blogger Frank Ordaz) where I'll hang with some pretty extraordinary painters who blog.

A few of my smaller water paintings.

  1. These look great Denny. I enjoy the mixing of subjects on the first picture and how you grouped the 3 paintings. Good luck with the show!
